Ownership Transfer Process

  1. Transfer documents delivered right to your doorstep.

    Nissan Leasing will send ownership transfer documents to you 60 days before last payment due date.

  2. Sign and return them to Nissan Leasing

    Please sign the ownership transfer documents, including the listed required documents , and send them back to Nissan Leasing before the last payment due date. In the meantime, please make payment of the ownership transfer service fee by using pay slip which attached in document set.

  3. Wait for the vehicle registration booklet

    After receiving completed documents and service fee, we will send the vehicle registration booklet to you within 15 working days.

Required Documents for Ownership Transfer

Individual Person (Thai Citizen)

  1. A photocopy of ID card or official government officer identity card (both front and back pages of the card; card must be valid and unexpired)
  2. A photocopy of valid and unexpired vehicle tax renewal sticker
  3. A photocopy of certificate of changing name and/or surname (if any)
  4. A photocopy of marriage certificate (if any)
  5. A photocopy of certificate of changing name’s title (if any)
  6. A photocopy of civil servant/military rank change (if any)

    Remarks

    • Please sign to certify true copies. The signature must be the same signature as appeared in the hire purchase agreement.

Non-Thai Individual Customers

  1. A photocopy of all pages of passport and all renewal pages of the visa (The visa must be valid and unexpired)
  2. A photocopy of all pages of work permit (especially first page and renewal page) or original certificate of residence which must be valid and unexpired.

    Remarks

    • If your work permit does not show a place of residence in Thailand, please contact the Immigration Bureau or your country’s embassy in Thailand to request for a certificate of residence.
    • If the province of the vehicle registration does not match your current residence, the Department of Land Transport will automatically transfer the registration to the province of your current residence.
  3. A photocopy of unexpired vehicle tax sticker

Corporate Customers

  1. A photocopy of certificate of incorporation (issued no more than 6 months ago)
  2. A photocopy of the authorized person’s ID card (both front and back page of the unexpired card)
  3. If the authorized person is a Non-Thai citizen, please use a photocopy of his/her work permit, visa and passport instead.
  4. A photocopy of unexpired vehicle tax sticker

Remark

  • All required documents must be valid
  • All copied documents must be signed exactly as same as Hire Purchase Agreement
  • Tax renewal must be applied to avoid delay that may caused
  • All fine must be completely paid before Transfer occured
